Reforma is the kind of project that goes beyond creating a beautiful space. It’s about reimagining how a building can serve people—throughout the week, not just in a single moment.

In partnership with Living Stones Church, Sierra Builders and KRI Architecture, we’re transforming a former riverfront theater into a 54,000 sq ft multi-use environment designed for real life. The vision is simple, but significant: create a space that feels intentional and meaningful on Sundays, while remaining active, functional, and welcoming every other day of the week.

Flexibility is at the core of every design decision. The building supports a dedicated worship experience, while also making room for daily life, housing a preschool that brings energy and rhythm during the week, alongside adaptable event spaces that can host everything from community gatherings to private celebrations. Every element is designed to work together seamlessly, so the space never feels fragmented or forced.

This project is also part of something larger unfolding along the Truckee River. By integrating opportunities for locally owned food and retail, Reforma contributes to the vitality of the Riverwalk, supporting small businesses and strengthening what makes Reno feel connected and alive.

At its core, this is what we believe design should do. It should solve real problems, support the people who use the space, and add something meaningful to the community around it.

Reforma is an opportunity to do all of that, thoughtfully, intentionally, and at scale.
